A possible clue to her identity is provided by the coat of arms in the upper right corner. Although it has yet to be identified, a speculation is that it might relate in some way to the city of Amsterdam, which has a coat of arms featuring three silver crosses of St Andrew on a red ground. by Martin Postle Related catalogue items from Doddington Hall Doddington Hall Piggy John Arnold Alfred Wheeler, 1874 Doddington Hall George Knollis Jarvis attributed to Charles Lutyens, c.1860–70 Doddington Hall ?
